ONGOING MONTHLY PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Following sitting from 9:30 - 11:30, there is a dharma talk at 11:30 by one of the teachers in our community.
Currently, a children's program is offered on the first Sunday of the month and is co-coordinated by Kimberly and Mark Lueck. Children of all ages are welcome. The program begins at 10am and includes activities such as tea meditation in silence, walks in the neighborhood, art projects, stories, dharma talks, jokes and snacks. Please contact Kimberly or Mark for more details:

Occasional intensive sitting practice is essential to the development of a strong connection to meditation. Nyinthuns, day long meditation sessions, were introduced to us by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and are continued with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's encouragement. These days of practice give us time and space to settle down, and the chance to get in touch with the depths of our minds. Nyinthun sessions include two three-hour sitting sessions, walking meditation, and a silent lunch. All are welcome. If you can only do part, please feel free to join us for as long as you can.
At the Minneapolis Shambhala Center we offer a nyinthun every quarter. Contact Chuck Griffith for more information at chuckg@winternet.com.
