Fresh Start Mondays
with Kimberley Lueck March 15th: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM In Room(s): Main Shrine Room
“Ordinarily we are swept away by habitual momentum. We don’t interrupt our patterns even slightly. With practice, however, we learn to stay with a broken heart, with a nameless fear, with the desire for revenge. Sticking with uncertainty is how we learn to relax in the midst of chaos, how we learn to be cool when the ground beneath us suddenly disappears.” Pema Chodron
Thanks to the enthusiastic attendance and interest all together, we will continue with our Fresh Start Monday program resuming in October. Until then, there will be a schedule of regular Monday night meditation practice from 7-8pm.
The first session - June 7 - will be an intro to Timekeeping. This session will be devoted to raining anyone who would like to be timekeeper for a sitting session. This includes how to ring the gong, clack the gandi and how to lead the closing chant. Everyone who has been practicing this year is welcome to come to this and then sign up to lead a session or more over the summer break.
Regular Monday Night sitting practice:
June 14, 21, 28
July 12, 19, 26 (no session on July 5)
August 2,9, 16, 23, 30
September 13,20,27 (no session Sep 6)
